Section 21A
Complaints can be lodged
(1) Complaints can also be made by post or electronic means on matters that can be complained about in accordance with this Act, and complaints received in that way must be registered and acted upon by the department or office.
(2) Complaints can also be made before the chief district officer of the respective district on matters that can be filed before the department according to this Act.
(3) If the complaint filed before the chief district officer according to sub-section (2) is against a licensed institution, the complaint must be sent to the department within seven days.
(4) According to sub-section (2), the Chief District Officer, after investigating and finding that compensation should be paid to the worker or his representative, may be reconciled by discussing and paying the compensation to both parties, and the department should be informed of the reconciliation.
(5) In the event that reconciliation is not possible according to sub-section (4) or if it is not possible to reconcile from the nature of the complaint, the chief district officer shall send the complaint to the department for necessary action.
